How does pickup work?

Am I responsible for the car after I sell it?
Your responsibility ends once ownership is properly transferred. We complete a bill of sale with you; you should file a release of liability with the DMV, remove your plates, and cancel your insurance.
How do I avoid scams when selling a car?
Never release the car or title before payment is in hand, meet in person, verify who you are dealing with, and keep copies of every document. Selling to an established local buyer removes most of that risk.
